JACK and KEVIN POSOBIEC: America is seeing a 'cultural shift' away from wokeness, 'Swiftiness' and 'towards MAGA'

Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec spoke to his brother, fellow Eagles fan Kevin Posobiec, on the program on Monday, where the two discussed the seismic cultural shift that has taken place over the last few years. While kicking off the show, Posobiec reminded viewers that “Donald Trump is your president, Christ is King, and the Philadelphia Eagles are your Super Bowl champions.”

This was a segue for Posobiec to discuss an Eagles game that he and his brother Kevin attended back during the regular season, where the two wore MAGA hats. It was at this game, Posobiec said, that he realized there had been a cultural shift. While walking around the Lincoln Financial field in Philadelphia, Posobiec noticed that other attendees were cheering him on, giving him thumbs up, and were generally pumped to see someone proudly wearing a MAGA hat.

"There is a culture shift going on in America ... We are seeing the shift away from wokeness, we are seeing the shift away from Swiftiness, and we are seeing the shift towards MAGA," he said.

Throughout the lead to the 2024 election, Posobiec reminded viewers that Pennsylvania would—much like its state nickname—be the key to victory, as it was a massive battleground for both Harris and Trump. While Trump would go on to win every single swing state, Pennsylvania would see a big swing toward Trump, winning 50.4 percent of the vote Harris’ 48.7 percent, defeating her by a margin of about 1.7 and flipping the state. This was the largest margin of victory for a Republican candidate since 1988, as well as the first time that a Republican won over 50 percent of the vote.

Also notable during the Super Bowl was the crowd’s reaction to arguably the two most well-known people in the audience and perhaps the world. While the audience was delighted and cheered loudly to see President Donald Trump in attendance, becoming the first sitting president to ever attend a Super Bowl, audible booing could be heard when the Jumbotron showed pop star Taylor Swift, in which t-shirt and cut offs.

“Philadelphia is the heart of America. When we talk about 1776, that is the life blood of Philadelphia. Philly is where 1776 happened. It’s America’s birthplace. Next year will be the 250th celebration of that American birth. Here’s what I’ll say about Philly,” Posobiec said. “Of all the haters, and I hear from all sides, I just want to say this… People want to talk about Philly and say, ‘oh it’s riots and BLM and Soros prosecutors and Larry Krasner,’ I get it. That part is there. But it’s kind of like America, that there’s more to it than that. That’s like saying America is just the left,” Posobiec said.
