JACK POSOBIEC and DARREN BEATTIE: Thinking Republicans 'have it in the bag' going into November is a 'death curse mindset'

"The stakes couldn't be any higher and the worst thing that we could do at the moment is be complacent."

Jack Posobiec hosted Revolver News founder Darren Beattie on Tuesday's episode of Human Events Daily, during which the pair discussed the "stakes" at hand for GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump going into the 2024 election. As discussed earlier on the show with guest Richard Baris, Trump has been polling well, even better than expected.

Beattie said "the stakes couldn't be any higher and the worst thing that we could do at the moment is be complacent." He warned that while the polls look "encouraging," Trump is still neck and neck with his opponent Vice President Kamala Harris. He stated that more of a margin is needed to prepare for any kind of "major intervention" or voting manipulations. In other words, Trump needs to win big.

"So I think things are looking good, but if we think we have it in the bag, that's almost like the death curse in terms of the mindset going in in this final stretch," Beattie stated, adding that "the main thing to talk about, the most egregious thing, the darkest thing, is that there's clearly a repeated, ongoing effort to assassinate Trump before the election."

Two known assassination attempts have taken place against the former president within two months from each other. While Thomas Matthew Crook's July 13 attempt clipped Trump's ear and killed firefighter Corey Comperatore, Ryan Wesley Routh's September 15 attempt had been carefully planned and involved the potential of a $150,000 bounty on the former president's head.

"There's no reason to think that that's going to stop right now and not continue through into Election Day. So that's also very much on the table, not to mention whatever else the regime might have up its sleeve," Beattie said.
