Emmons, being a New Yorker herself, explained that the DOJ has been "going after Adams in earnest since about this time last year, which coincidentally is when Adams started speaking out against the Biden-Harris border crisis, and saying that the crisis was going to destroy New York City that they were unable to accommodate all of these migrants who were pouring in."
She revealed that the mayor was actually slated to meet with President Joe Biden and other mayors to discuss the crises when he was informed his former campaign manager's Brooklyn house had been raided by the FBI, which happened over allegations that his campaign received donations from Turkish officials and airlines. Because it is illegal to receive campaign funds from foreign agents, the donations were allegedly funneled through Americans.
The indictment also said that Adams got free upgrades on Turkish Airlines in exchange for the Turkish consulate being allowed to occupy a building in New York without a passing fire inspection, Emmons explained.
In terms of the Turkish donations, Posobiec noted, "Sure, that's illegal. But you know what? There's lots of Democrats who take foreign money. Joe Biden has taken foreign money through his son," adding that Adams seemingly got "indicted over a couple of flight upgrades, seat upgrades on an airplane."
Both Emmons and Posobiec agreed that Adams' indictment was directly related to his criticism of the Biden-Harris administration's migrant crisis and its specific strain on New York City.
