President Biden’s chances at winning the election this November get dimmer by the day. He's behind his predecessor President Trump in six out of seven swing states in the latest polling and in one of those states the far left of his own party has been organizing against him. That far left essentially backs the terrorist barbarians who seek to sadistically torture and murder members of a different race for their supposed status as “colonizers.” Yes, we're talking about Hamas. These pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian protesters have the Democrat party and the Biden administration over a barrel.
Under any other circumstances, a Democrat administration would recognize this and see it for the opportunity to showcase moderation that it is. Particularly given that, according to a poll released last week by RMG Research and Gideon 300, their own voters swing against the Palestinian cause by 30 points the instant they realize that the Palestinian cause is synonymous with Hamas. In other words, in theory, denouncing people who openly root for anti-American terrorists (and in some cases, provide material funding for them) should be the easiest thing on earth for any political party, Democrats included.
However, as the current response by the Biden White House shows, it clearly isn’t. In fact, watching the response by Democrats generally to the unhinged pro-Hamas protesters, you’d think they were being asked to condemn puppies and kittens, so half-hearted and reluctant are the denunciations currently being offered. As such, we’d be surprised if more than a few people – including the saner Democrats – wonder what on earth is going on.
Enter Michigan.
Listen to Michigan is part of that effort. A far-left pressure campaign run by what NPR calls “younger Arab and Muslim organizers” (read: junior jihadis), their goal was to get Biden to lose a substantial vote share in last month’s Michigan Democratic primary to the nebulous “uncommitted” option. Dem rep and Hamas apologist Rashida Tlaib threw her support behind the campaign. The point of this undertaking was simple, and NPR explains it surprisingly well: “[F]or some voters who disapprove of his handling of Israel's war in Gaza, Tuesday night was about sending a strong message: Change course or lose votes in the general election.”
Now, while many Democrat presidents might’ve felt safe ignoring this kind of pressure campaign, it’s clear that President Biden isn’t in a position to do so. The fact that the votes of sane people are vanishing by the truckload into President Trump’s column means that Biden needs to pray that he can turn out every lunatic woke activist he can, even the ones who (for example) marry their brothers and root for a second Holocaust behind the fig leaf of “decolonization.”
Biden is in so much trouble in Michigan that the only places where he thinks he can squeak out votes is essentially Ilhan Omar’s district. Which means that, when it comes to support for terrorists, the Biden White House can’t just state the obvious; they need the terrorist sympathizers in order to win. You almost have to feel sorry for them, if not for the fact that their entire political strategy for years now has been importing third world populations, to make up for the fact that normal American citizens would sooner vote for Typhoid Mary than for wokeness. Unfortunately for them, when you import enough of the third world as your voting base, the tail starts to wag the dog, which is what it’s doing in Michigan.
This problem gets even more pronounced when you consider that so many of the young activists who the Democrats rely on for their field operations and organizing arms are just as brainwashed into pro-terror woke fanaticism as the Islamists in Michigan. This is why, even when the Democrats throw glitzy fundraisers featuring Biden, Obama, and Clinton, the fundraisers tend to be overshadowed by the mobs of angry, abusive protesters outside. Literally the same organizing talent that made the woke Left able to drive their various constituent groups to the polls is now enabling them to drive those same groups into the streets against anyone who doesn’t think spray painting Swastikas on synagogues is actually a protest against genocide. Granted, that organizing talent did make the Democrat turnout machine a juggernaut, but again, when you outsource your organizing juggernaut to socialists, communists, and Antifa, don’t be surprised when they start demanding you do what they want, or else.
Which gets to the real point about the Democrats: ever since President Trump was elected, they’ve been so desperate to push back against the supposed Bad Orange Enemy of Our Democracy (TM) that they have handed power, resources, and clout to literally anyone who shouted loudly enough about the evils of the MAGA movement, without even bothering to ask whether the reason those people hate the Right are the same reasons they hate the Right. They did no due diligence on just who, exactly, were being handed the keys to their party’s future. Like Victor Frankenstein minus the brains, they stitched together a coalition of resentful, violent monsters and somehow thought that the monsters could be controlled even after they held all the levers of power.
That they are now being proved wrong, and being forced to capitulate to those same monsters, may be poetic justice, but it is also alarming. If the Democrats will capitulate to supporters of rapists, murderers, and aspiring genocidal warlords for the sake of defeating former president Trump, just what won’t they tolerate during their next four years in power? We can’t speak for any moderate Democrats who might be reading this, but we don’t propose to find out.
