As violent gangs take over Haiti and the country devolves into chaos, the Department of Defense testified in Congress on Tuesday that they are preparing for the possibility of an influx of Haitian illegal immigrants coming to the US through Florida.

Jack Posobiec, host of Human Events Daily warned that there could be "cannibals on our shores" and Donald Trump is "the only person who can send them back."

"We've seen the unrest and the violence and the rioting," he stated.

In 2021, former President Jovenel Moise was assassinated, leading to Ariel Henry stepping in as interim Prime Minister and continually postponing elections. Henry announced he is resigning Tuesday after being unable to return to the country due to threats from armed gang members.

Just 2 weeks ago, over 4,000 inmates were broken out of 2 of the country's largest prisons in an organized attack in the capitol and have been wreaking havoc in the streets ever since.

There have been varying reports and rumors of cannibalistic activity in Haiti. While these are speculation at this point, Posobiec said "the media absolutely should go and fact check this ... and I will even help to fund this. All media fact checkers, from CNN, MSNBC, Facebook, Instagram, should go down to Haiti right now" to verify claims of cannibalism for themselves "for the good of the world."

"The US military anticipates mass migration from Haiti to America," Posobiec said, citing Representative Matt Gaetz. "Huge refugee crisis that could come out of this, specifically to the state of Florida."

"The Coast Guard is currently trying to get ready for this, but they believe that they don't have enough resources," Posobiec reiterated. "AND Gaetz is saying that they're actually requesting US Navy ships to try to block this incredible human wave that's about to come out of Haiti while they're fleeing this violence down there."

"And we all know what the Biden administration is going to do," he continued. "They're going to want to bring as many people in as possible [because] that's just what they do."

Despite Cuba being closer to Haiti, Posobiec noted that it's "funny" that the Haitians reportedly have their sights set on the US.

"This is what's happening, affecting our lives right now. Cannibals on our shores. The only person who can send them back is Donald J. Trump," he concluded.
