KENNY CODY: Time to admit that the GOP primary is over and Trump won

As the Secretary of the Interior GOP debates continue to tank in the ratings and President Donald Trump continues to lengthen his lead over Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Chris Christie, it is more evident than ever that the 2024 GOP Presidential Primary is over. From day one, even when candidates like DeSantis thought they had a chance, Trump would always be the nominee. There were moments during the primary where people thought that either because of the nonsense deep state indictments that the former President had to endure or the one-state success that Ron DeSantis Trump was somehow going to be overtaken by a new leader, but that never came to fruition.

In the curious case of Ron DeSanctimonious, many in establishment GOP media and consultant politics have crowned him the next king of the Republican Party due to his electoral success in Florida. While his 2022 margins in Florida can be admired from rose-colored glasses, his worshippers forget that the only reason DeSantis had any success in his state was because of his imitation and taking of granted of Trump’s endorsements in both of DeSantis’s election years. Even mainstream media that hate Trump could not help but notice how DeSantis would try and mirror Trump’s every hand movement and speaking motion, as well as shift his positions on issues such as foreign policy and deep state corruption to try and appeal to Trump’s base that controls the GOP currently. As a result, DeSantis has dropped nearly thirty points since his announcement in the spring of 2023 and continues to dip in the polls as the weeks roll by.

As they always do, the voters have seen through the charade. They have united behind both the MAGA movement and the Trump candidacy because of the way the establishment press and masters of the federal bureaucratic state feel about him. The neoconservative candidacies of Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, Asa Hutchinson, and other no-names have failed tremendously. If that was not more evident as to the domination of Trump in the polls,

Vivek Ramaswamy showed everyone during the debates and otherwise how fake and non-intellectual most of the other candidates were. No moment was more representative of the stupidity of the establishment than when Vivek tasked Nikki Haley to name the provinces in Ukraine where she wanted to send troops, and she was unable to call or even react to a single proposition. Republican voters are not dumb and have not been fooled during this primary process, nor will they be whenever they head to the polls in the spring.

The voters want Trump. GOP leaders in a vast majority of the GOP in the House of Representatives, the United States Senate, state legislatures, and gubernatorial officeholders all have said that they want Donald Trump back as the forty-seventh President of the United States. Those at the Republican National Committee, Fox News, and other mainstream conservative organizations and media need to realize that there is no stopping the train coming down the track. Donald Trump will be the Republican Party’s nominee in the 2024 presidential election, and it is time to rally our party and the country around the only man who can save our republic.
