EXCLUSIVE: Katie Daviscourt says she was harassed by Antifa members during Andy Ngo trial, 'windows smashed' out of car

"I was on my way to dinner, got to my car, and find that all my windows were smashed out."

"I was on my way to dinner, got to my car, and find that all my windows were smashed out."

Jack Posobiec and Katie Daviscourt discussed the Andy Ngo trial that has taken place this week. Ngo was attacked by a group of Antifa members in the summer of 2021, which resulted in several injuries.

Posobiec said: "We know that Andy, the jury, this Portland jury, found Antifa, these members, not liable for the attacks on Andy even though they were the targeting cell, if not members of the Black Bloc themselves, in multiple attacks on Andy, John Hacker, Elizabeth Richter. But Katie, tell us what you experienced while covering this trial inside the courtroom day in and day out?"

Daviscourt said the trial was for alleged Antifa doxxers, who track potential infiltrators to their groups and get them attacked, Richter and Hacker, noting that "in this trial, three of the Antifa defendants actually defaulted before the trial, so they will be held liable for some attacks on Andy. And Andy also reached a settlement with one of them."

"So this was the trial of John Hacker and Elizabeth Richter, and when I showed up, the defense team tried to get me banned from the courtroom since day one. They put a gag order on Andy, he wasn't allowed to talk to me. I was accused every day of doing something wrong by the defense team or Antifa. I was under a severe microscope, and the judge said no live streaming, no live tweeting, no live reporting, and so it was with either a pen and paper or a laptop not connected to the internet, eight hours a day, just trying to type in what's happening."

Daviscourt said she was the only reporter in the courtroom, noting that "it was great for The Post Millennial to have this exclusive coverage, but I've never experienced anything like this. I've covered trials before, and I've never had Antifa militants sitting behind me making snarky comments, trying to read over everything that I'm writing from behind me, touching me physically inside the courtroom, and disrupting the courtroom."

When asked by Posobiec about a situation that arose in the elevator of the courtroom involving Richter, Davisourt said after the closing statements, she started heading to the elevator when Richter "starts gunning for me in the hallway, she is looking me deadlocked in the eyes," and "two other Antifa militants joined her, and they just start harassing me, slandering me, calling me names."

Daviscourt equated the situation to a person on trial for a robbery and then committing a robbery during the said trial.

"They tried getting into the same elevator as me," Daviscourt said, recalling the group telling her, "come here Katie, we want you in here, why are you leaving?"

Posobiec also mentioned that Daviscourt's vehicle had been broken into while she was in her hotel. Daviscourt said: "I finished my write-up at my hotel and I was like, 'Finally this trial is over,' and I go out to my car. I was on my way to dinner, got to my car, and find that all my windows were smashed out."

Posobiec asked where her car was parked, whether it was within the vicinity of the courthouse. Daviscourt said that it was parked at her hotel, which made her feel even more "uneasy," given that it was apparent someone was following her.

She noted that the situation was just too coincidental for the incident to not have involved Antifa. She went on to mention that an Antifa member had posted to social media several hours before her car was damaged, saying, "I wonder when Katie's gonna set up a GoFundMe account." She said she didn't think anything of it at the time, but after her car was broken into, "it kind of [made] sense."

She noted that the parking lot was full when her car was damaged. Posobiec mentioned that if it was a robbery, more than one vehicle would have been targeted. Daviscourt concluded, saying if it was a robbery, there were other high value items in her car that would have been. taken, but instead, the title to the vehicle was taken, which had her personal address on it.
