ANTHONY WATSON: Sexually explicit Pride performances shown to kids in Arlington, TX

While TPUSA hosted its Young Women’s Leadership Summit, I went undercover with some of our team members at the pride event in Arlington, Texas.

I witnessed firsthand some of the most vial and antithetical behavior from a community that is constantly playing the “victim card” in society. I saw young children exposed to overtly-sexual performances and entertainment.

I question why there is such an appeal for these drag show performances that feature lip-synching contests and grown men parading around in makeup and hyper-sexual outfits. The same entertainment can be found at your local circus if there were any left due to all the animal rights activists that have shut down a ton of them.

What was most troubling was seeing the event take place directly next to a big church in Arlington. This, of course, is not a surprise; a frequent strategy of the organizers of these events is to incorporate faith and religion in their blasphemous performances.

One drag performer shared a horrific message at the event, stating, “No matter what you say drag is here to stay, and no matter what you do we aren’t going anywhere and will continue to make our community open to all those who want to share our celebration.”

The mayor of Arlington attended the event to declare June “the month of pride.” he also prayed over the event before departing.

What I saw at this event was not a marginalized group of people fighting for equality. I saw a protected class of people become more entitled with the liberties provided to them. If the lifestyle of LGBTQ was beneficial then there wouldn’t be so much underhanded deceit against families in schools or outrageous sacrilegious displays that provoke more division than unity

This fight is on our front door attacking the next generation of children. The only way to pushback is to have the silent majority speak up and defend traditional values.
