She slammed Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, and urged Americans not to be intimidated by Democrats' politically motivated attacks.
"What was it like getting in front of that courthouse with the police, and the media, and Antifa?" Posobiec asked Greene, commending her for being "absolutely fearless" in the face of angry protestors, some of whom screamed that they wanted to kill her. Greene had spoken out in front of the courthouse, along with other Trump supporters, prior to his being arraigned.
"It was very intense," Greene replied, noting that on top of everything that was happening on the ground, the mayor of New York City had named her by name and "basically threatened" her. Eric Adams on Monday said that Greene was guilty of spreading "hate speech," though he gave no exampled and it was basically slander.
She slammed protestors for using whistles to try and intimidate her as she and others peacefully demonstrated in a nearby park before making their way to the courthouse.
"I thought it was important for me to be here as a member of Congress and one of Trump's top supporters to tell everyone at home who've been intimidated and fear this weaponized government right now that no, we cannot live in fear. We still have all of our rights, we have our freedoms. Freedom of speech is so important, and everyone's using it today."
Posobiec said that Trump's trial was similar to atrocitites of justice that he'd seen take place in communist China. Greene agreed, pointing out that the political climate in the United States shifted following January 6.
"We saw them turn Washington DC into a huge military fortress," she said, "and that was a message to every single American ... saying 'we're here and we're taking over.'" Greene went on to slam Democrats for intimidating those on the right who dare to speak out against the Biden regime.
"Today, we're taking a turn," she continued. "We're standing out here, and we're using our speech, and we're defending our innocent presidential candidate for 2024 ... We are not gonna be silent, we are not gonna be intimidated, we are not gonna be afraid. This is our country, and we're taking it back."
