Jack Posobiec spoke on the importance of Real America’s Voice and Human Events Daily breaking the Trump media boycott on Monday’s edition of the show, and how the counter-institution is working to reduce the power the mainstream media has in disseminating information.
Posobiec was speaking with author Joshua Lisec, who said that Real America’s Voice has been built up as a counter-institution that focuses on the “cares and concerns of the people” because “no one else is giving it to those people.”
Posobiec said the counter-institution “disintermediates the power of what the mainstream media used to have. One of the greatest powers, of course, was hey, we're your conduit to the public. We're your conduit to the people. You have to go through us, and therefore they have a monopoly cartel, and the mainstream media, the establishment media, who have a monopoly cartel on access to the public and for the public to the president, for the president to the public. So you had to work with them, and this, of course, gave them immense leverage.”
“But guess what? As President Trump and Real America’s Voice are showing right now, Human Events, of course, we're happy to oblige and happy to be of service. We're showing that those institutions aren't needed anymore.”
He said a key tactic of the left is the “Marcusian long march through the institutions. They tried to take over every institution in America. Of course, they started with the media. Of course, they started with Hollywood.”
He said the breaking of the boycott is a playbook that’s laid out in his latest edition of Unhumans. “We're blockade runners over here, so we are breaking the power of the mainstream media through the counter institution of Real America’s Voice, and there are times when counter institutions obviously are necessary.”
