Speaking from outside the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse on Tuesday morning alongside the New York Young Republican Club ahead of Trump’s arraignment, Human Events Daily’s Jack Posobiec declared "they can gag Donald Trump, but they can’t gag all of us."
"Why are we here this morning? I’ll tell you why we’re here this morning," Posobiec began ahead of Trump's arraignment in a New York City courtroom. "Because Joe Biden and the Democrats and the media are terrified of the people of this country. They’re terrified of free Americans. They’re terrified of the voters. They’re terrified of people having a voice and that’s why they’re trying to put a gag order on President Donald John Trump."
"Well, you know what I say to Alvin Bragg and his gag order? Boo," said Posobiec, which was bet with boos from the crowd. Bragg has indicated that a gag order might be requested to prevent Trump from speaking publicly about the case.
"And you know something? To Vish Burra, to Gavin Wax, to all the New Yorkers and the free Americans who stand with me here today, they can gag Donald Trump, but they can’t gag all of us. And they will not gag all of us."
Ahead of the underway arraignment, it was reported that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg would potentially be placing a gag order on the former President.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) called the proposed gag order "unconstitutional" in a letter sent to Bragg, arguing that the order would be a violation of Trump’s right to free speech.
"Our voices will be heard, and we will not stop. They want us to go home. They want us to be silent. They want us to quit. Well, I can’t quit. I’m not going to quit, because I’m not letting the United States of America go down like that," Posobiec continued.
"That procession that we saw yesterday, that motorcade, the same way we’re about to see a motorcade here just in a few moments, that’s the funeral procession of our republic.
But I’ll tell you something right now. We will rebuild, we will restore, and America will be reborn. Mark my words. America will be reborn. You cannot defeat the American people. You cannot defeat the American spirit. And you will never silence the United States of America.
Posobiec’s speech concluded with chants of "USA" from the crowd.
Around 1:45 pm on Tuesday afternoon, Trump arrived at the courthouse to face arraignment for the 34 felony charges stemming from an alleged payout made by his former legal counsel Michael Cohen to porn star Stormy Daniels.
