In Memphis, Tennessee, an incident involving five black cops resulted in the death of a black man, Tyre Nichols. Anticipating the release of bodycam footage, the usual suspects of race hustlers in the Democrat party shifted into gear to somehow paint this as racism in order to foment civic unrest. Their paramilitary arms of BLM and Antifa, who likely can’t even spell Memphis, were unleashed into New York City. It was done to distract from the real issue; illegals.
While there were protests in Manhattan on Friday, January 27, they were small in size and mainly in three pockets; Times Square, Union Square, and Washington Square Park. It was a far cry from the thousands of malcontents marauding from Brooklyn Bridge up to Harlem during the “Summer of Love.” This time around, social media influencers were quiet. BLM posters were nonexistent. Even schools resisted sending out flurries of emails chastising their parent and student bodies for subconscious racism.
There’s been a change. New York City residents seem disgusted by BLM and Antifa antics. Both horror groups have grifted off and annoyed the hell out of people hanging on by a thread. The Democrats have drawn from the racism well too many times.
The story right now is the illegals. They’ve been intentionally placed in the most iconic and wealthy zip codes in Manhattan and will serve a vital role in implementing “reimagining”; a project meant to raze landmarked buildings, displace communities that built up Soho, Chinatown, and Little Italy, and change the socioeconomic make-up of thriving neighborhoods under the guise of “social justice.”
The destruction of New York City will be Mayor Adams’ legacy, and he’s in trouble. As per a Quinnipiac Poll, “Voters give Mayor Eric Adams his first negative job approval rating since taking office in 2022 with 37% approving of the way he’s handling his job as mayor, 43% disapproving and 20% not offering an opinion.”
Because of the public’s growing outrage, he is doing everything possible to divert residents' and tourists’ attention by reverting to his comfort zone, waxing on incoherently about phantom white supremacy in order to further police reform.
Don’t take the bait. Police reform isn’t going to do anything to prevent incidents like the one involving the five black Memphis police officers. "The disgraceful actions depicted in the released video are an unequivocal violation of our oath to protect those we serve, and a failure of basic human decency," said NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell. She states plainly, they broke the laws already on the books as opposed to Nichols dying due to accepted police practices.
In fact, it looks like Nichols is dead in part because of Democrat initiatives to lower standards. “At least two out of five Memphis police officers charged with murder in the fatal beatdown of Tyre Nichols joined the force after the department relaxed its hiring requirements,” the New York Post reports.
“Two years after the department dramatically loosened the education qualifications to become an officer. Recruits no longer needed an associate’s degree or 54 college credit hours to join the force, and could get by with five years of work experience.”
After the release of the bodycam footage and the only one night of civic unrest, Mayor Adams seemed miffed. The rent-a-crowds weren’t big enough and BLM and Antifa didn’t create enough chaos to declare a state of emergency or lock people down. New York City residents remain focused on the ballooning illegal crisis.
So Adams looked to fan the flames and put out a tweet. “There’s a lot of pain in America right now. A lot of pain in Memphis. A lot of pain in New York City. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of #TyreNichols. Justice must be served in his name.” Not remotely done from race-baiting, on January 30th, he gave CNN’s eponymous Don Lemon an interview. The premise was bizarre; why would Lemon ask a New York City mayor facing real challenges to weigh in on events in Memphis when he can’t even get a handle on his own city?
Lemon said, “Chief Cerelyn Davis [of Memphis, Tennessee] said; ‘All the officers being black, it takes race off the table.’ Do you agree with that?” Adams had to find white supremacy at fault. He said, “No I don’t. I think that I understand what the Chief was saying. She really handled this situation in a very professional way. But I think race is still on the table when a culture of police historically has treated those from different groups differently even when those cultures are in the same group. We have to zero in on it and be honest.”
Let’s “zero in…and be honest.” Adams babbled his admiration for Chief Davis then incoherently proceeded to disagree with everything she said. New York City residents aren’t buying that white people are to blame for five black men linked to the death of a black man. While tragic, it is an anomaly and wholly separate from the issues gripping Gotham. What New York City residents are grappling with now is Mayor Adams’ fomenting racism in a desperate attempt to divert us from the illegals on the heels of one Democrat-manufactured crisis after another.
New York City is besieged by entitled, aggressive, illegal migrants. They were welcomed with concierge service by Mayor Adams’ administration. What they have shown even the most dedicated liberal is that by implementing Socialism, the worst of the illegal migrants have hit our island and dug in their heels. By going through a legal process, following the rules, working hard and assimilating, there’s a level of appreciation, respect, and gratitude. This isn’t the case with the criminal element plied to the gills with “free” everything that is courtesy of the residents whose neighborhoods they trash and wallets they empty.
The group Mayor Adams welcomed was provided luxury hotel accommodations. Dissatisfied with their “free” digs, the Adams administration dispatched tour guides to quell the unhappy freeloaders. After receiving cell phones, services, food, clothes, Medicaid, education, and transportation, they have the gall to demand more. The silver lining; New York City residents are getting a crash course in both what a sanctuary city means as well as what sort of mindset Socialism creates. As per the New York Post, “A once-trendy Manhattan hotel has become a wild ‘free-for-all’ of sex, drugs, and violence after the city began housing migrants there, an employee claimed,”
The illegal migrants are sucking up our tax money. They’re draining our services, like the NYPD, maligned by the Adams administration. You can’t make this up; as the Democrats demonize and defund police, they use them as private security to guard the illegals in their luxury hotels. The lawless migrants are destroying quality of life, creating tent cities, clogging sidewalks in protest over accommodations, littering, and causing traffic jams as they battle each other both inside hotels and outside on the streets. As per the New York Post, “A wild weekend melee broke out at a Manhattan hotel being used as a migrant shelter, with three of its residents throwing bottles and then getting stabbed as payback, cops said.” Maybe the warring illegals are also victims of white supremacy… or climate change.
Creating a severely dwindling quality of life. This mentality of the new settlers is insidious and anti-American. It doesn’t look like they came here to cut a path to economic freedom, it looks like they came here to be freeloaders and grievance collectors. Perhaps this is why the Democrats in power are in full support.
New York City Council boasted on its Instagram handle that council member Sandy Nurse held a “rally for the rights of immigrants and asylum seekers” at City Hall. Coincidentally, City Hall is fortified with NYPD, barricades, and is closed to the public. No word on whether Nurse is taking any illegals into her home.
Finally, the Post reports, “The world’s tallest Holiday Inn has won a judge’s approval to become a shelter for migrants in downtown Manhattan — clearing the way for a deal with the city that will pay the hotel’s owner $190 a room per night. Earlier this month, the 50-story, 492-room Holiday Inn Manhattan Financial District – which filed for bankruptcy in November after getting slammed by the pandemic — inked an agreement with New York City Health and Hospitals, the agency charged with housing the Big Apple’s ballooning migrant population, according to court documents. The nightly room rate the city will pay…amounts to a daily tab of $93,500 and a monthly tab of $2.8 million — is at the high end of a range between $115 and $190 the city has allotted for a migrant hotel housing program that now reportedly spans dozens of hotels citywide, according to hotel consultant Geoffrey Mills.”
Let this sink in. First, the Democrats create the problem, tyrannical lockdowns bankrupting business after business. Then, they provide the solution; a skyscraper of illegals to help drain the city’s coffers. The choice of location is just as symbolic as to why the 9/11 hijackers targeted the World Trade Center. Downtown is the beating heart of Manhattan. It’s where our island’s democracy and free markets were born. Home to the Stock Exchange and Wall Street, George Washington bidding farewell to his troops, courts, the Seaport, commerce, and trade.
What Adams wants you all to know is this. Per the Daily Mail, “All staff working for City Hall will be forced to undergo equality training inspired by controversial Critical Race Theory. There will be a mandatory course on 'systematic racism', defined as 'a system that negatively impacts communities of color compared to White communities'. The training, which staff must complete by 6 March, says 'our society has used race to establish and justify systems of power, privilege, exclusion and oppression'.”
New York City residents are wising up to Adams. The polls show it, the lack of interest in BLM and Antifa show it, the outmigration shows it, and outrage towards his running the city into the ground is proof.
