Hunter Biden Demands 'Investigations' into Laptop Reporting, Threatens to Sue Tucker Carlson

The legal team of Hunter Biden, the disgraced son of President Joe Biden, has sent multiple letters to various government agencies, calling for investigations into the dissemination of materials from his laptop, as well as threatening to sue Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

According to CBS News, a source close to Biden said he intends to take control of the situation by combatting negative press and Republican-led investigations.

"He is not going to sit quietly by as questionable characters continue to violate his rights and media organizations peddling lies try to defame him," the source said.

One of the letters was sent to Carlson, demanding the primetime Fox host retract his statements describing a "money laundering scheme" that was connected to Biden, in which he allegedly paid his father "rent" money. The letter claims that other media outlets have already retracted similar claims.

Letters were also sent to the Delaware Attorney General, the IRS, and the Department of Justice seeking investigations related to the publication of the laptop, whose authenticity has since been verified.

The letters appear to be an admission from Biden's legal team that the laptop belongs to him and that its contents, first published by The New York Post back in 2020, are indeed authentic.

In the letter to Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings, Biden's legal team stated, "This failed dirty political trick directly resulted in the exposure, exploitation, and manipulation of Mr. Biden's private and personal information."

Biden's legal team is also seeking investigations into laptop repairman John Paul Mac Isaac, whose store the younger Biden left the laptop at, as well as various Trump aides who were connected to the publication of the laptop's contents. They allege that many of these aides may have broken the law in obtaining and distributing the laptop's contents.

They have also asked the IRS to review the tax-exempt status of Marco Polo, an organization run by former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler, which published a lengthy report on the laptop's contents.

In December, various reports claimed that Hunter Biden was planning a legal and media campaign to counter conservative criticism and allegations of legal improprieties.

"No one thinks this strategy of putting Hunter Biden front and center is smart," a source at the White House told The Washington Post at the time. "No one, including the White House, thinks this is a smart strategy."
