Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec read segments of George Floyd's coroner's report, after it was announced yesterday that the Floyd family would be suing Kanye West for $250 million for saying that he died of fentanyl.

Roxie Washington, mother to Floyd's daughter Gianna, announced on Tuesday that she hired a team of lawyers to go after West and his business partners for harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress. They're seeking $250 million in damage.

"Those of you who are watching Human Events... You know my reporting, you remember my reporting in April of 2021. And you have to know that one of the pieces that came out of that trial was the medical examiner," said Posobiec, before recounting a question asked by Derek Chauvin's attorney, "'If you had found George Floyd at home passed away... with this level of fentanyl in his system, with this level of methamphetamine in his system, how would you rule that?' He said, 'I would rule that an overdose.'"

"I have here before me, the document showing the Hennepin County medical examiner's report, the coroner's report on George Floyd. It states, 'George Floyd, Page 2 Section 3, no life-threatening injuries identified. No facial, oral, or conjunctival petechiae ... no chest wall soft tissue injuries, rib fractures other than a single rib fracture from CPR, vertebral column injuries, or visceral injuries... Incision and subcutaneous dissection of posterior and lateral neck, shoulders, back, flanks, and buttocks negative for occult trauma.

"Toxicology: Blood, drug, and novel psychoactive substances screen: Fentanyl, 11 ng, Norfentanyl 5.6 ng, per liter. Methamphetamine, 19 ng. Then there are types of THC, caffeine, and believe it or not, if you look under the 'viral testing' conducted by the Minnesota Department of Health: Post mortem nasal swab collection... showed that George Floyd, believe it or not, was positive for Covid-19 by PCR testing," Posobiec said before reading the first sentence of page two of the coroner's report: "No life-threatening injuries identified."

"Now you can argue all day long about what happened between Derrick Chauvin and George Floyd. We've seen the video, we've seen the evidence, I've seen people arguing that it was murder, I've seen people arguing that it wasn't. Folks," Posobiec said. "I'm here to tell you this. We've got to call it as we see it. That was not murder. It was not. It was a tragic situation, I wish to God it had never happened. I wish to God that fentanyl wasn't in this country to begin is outside of a hospital where it's contained for medical purposes. But when I look at that situation, I don't see murder. I see a tragic altercation that, yes, should have gone differently, but when I see a report like this, I've got to go with the facts."
