POSOBIEC: WEF Launching New Push for Permanent 'Climate Change' Lockdowns

On the latest episode of Human Events Daily, host Jack Posobiec sounded the alarm over the World Economic Forum's plan to turn "lockdown compliance into climate change compliance," citing the Forum's own words which demonstrate the desire to squash political resistance to its agenda.

"They're talking about how personal carbon allowance programs will be given in order to ensure that people comply with the new climate change restrictions," said Posobiec. "They also note that improvements in tracking and surveillance technology are helping to overcome 'political resistance against such programs.'"

Earlier in 2022, WEF identified the climate crisis as the top global risk, specifically naming "climate action failure."

"The planet cannot wait," the WEF's 2022 Global Risk Report reads. “Climate action failure”, “extreme weather” and “biodiversity loss” ranked as the WEF's three most potentially severe risks for the next decade.

WEF has already publicly called for a mass reduction in private vehicle ownership—a symptom of its plan to reduce global reliance on critical metals. "This transition from fossil fuels to renewables will need large supplies of critical metals such as cobalt, lithium, nickel, to name a few," the forum said in a July report. "Shortages of these critical minerals could raise the costs of clean energy technologies."

Posobiec continued: "So they're going to be tracking you and your behavior. I know people love to say, 'what about the private jets, what about John Kerry's private jet, what about Biden's private jet.' They don't care, you don't get it yet. The lockdowns aren't for them. The lockdowns are for you—all of these policies are not for the global elite. It's for you, and your families, it's for the middle class. That's who all of their energy is targeted at. It's targeted at you and at taking your energy away.

"They're taking away your ability to be able to live your life and make your choices," he said.

Other economic groups such as the World Business Council for Sustainable Development have even published a more-or-less guide on how to avoid lockdowns in a piece titled "Avoiding a climate lockdown," which states: "Under a “climate lockdown,” governments would limit private-vehicle use, ban the consumption of red meat, and impose extreme energy-saving measures, while fossil-fuel companies would have to stop drilling. To avoid such a scenario, we must overhaul our economic structures and do capitalism differently."

"Listen to this: Numerous examples globally maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, mass vaccination, and acceptance of contact tracing applications for public health, which demonstrated the core of individual social responsibility.

"Understand: They want to take lockdown compliance and then move that over to climate change compliance. They want climate change lockdowns. That's what's coming. We called this months ago when we were filming The Great Reset documentary over in Davos. Now they're just coming out directly and explaining it, so make sure you go reset.TPUSA.com, you can get all the speeches, and the booklet, and you can start to watch the new series 'The Great Global Reset.' They're terrified of us."
