Moderna asked the FDA for emergency authorization of a second COVID-19 booster shot.

The company requested that the booster be considered for all adults in order to allow the CDC, along with healthcare providers, to determine who needs it most, Fox News reports.

As previously reported by Human Events News, on Tuesday, Pfizer also requested emergency authorization for a second booster shot for those over the age of 65. The company primarily cited data from Israel, where the boosters are authorized for a wider age range.
