Last week Project Veritas had a reporter, Ivory Hecker, declare during a live hit that she was being suppressed by her network from telling the audience the truth. Hecker was a reporter for the Fox News affiliate, Fox 26, in Houston, Texas and told her audience that she was instructed to lie to her viewers. Hecker claims that the General Manager and the CEO’s opinions were more important than delivering honest reporting to the people of Houston.
Hecker was able to supply audio tapes of the station’s VP and News Director, Susan Schiller, ordering Hecker to “cease and desist” her social media posts on hydroxychloroquine. Hecker posted this information following an interview she had done with Dr. Joseph Varon, MD, Chief of Critical Care and the COVID-19 Unit at United Memorial Medical Center in Houston. Dr. Varon had great success with the drug and wanted to share that information in case it could help save more lives. Hecker has now been suspended and had this to say about her experience for speaking out:
“The viewers are being deceived by a carefully crafted narrative in some stories...There's a narrative. Yes, it is unspoken. But if you accidentally step outside the narrative, if you don't sense what that narrative is and go with it, there will be grave consequences for you...Fox came at my throat for standing up against censorship.”

Today another reporter is standing up against their network, this time CBS 62. April Moss is speaking out about the discrimination she faces at the CBS affiliate and will be giving an exclusive sit-down interview to Project Veritas. Moss has been with the Detroit, MI station since 2012 as a member of the weather team, and is currently anchoring the weather report on the weekends.
In an exclusive statement to Human Events, CEO and founder of Project Veritas said the following:
“These brave media insiders are fed up with the way the media operates. They feel there is no other platform that will do their stories justice. So they come to Project Veritas. Each time one comes out, a dozen more come to us. Some are currently filming inside news networks. They are risking everything because of how disgusting they feel the news business has become. Their concern for the future of their country exceeds a desire to maintain their livelihood, compensation, and personal safety. “
