In another egregious example of his “America last” agenda, the Biden administration is considering giving Iran significant relief on economic sanctions.

It is clearer now than ever that Iran is making strides in its demands that America ease up on restrictions and measures.

Indeed, negotiations in Vienna with Iran are centered around the sanctions, something Iran has been pushing the Biden administration to do-away with. The administration says it is willing to lift all sanctions necessary for America to return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action - or JCPOA - the original nuclear accord and one some would consider one of the most dangerous deals in American history.

“The United States would be prepared to lift the sanctions necessary for our JCPOA compliance only if Iran is prepared to return its nuclear program to its JCPOA status, including with respect to the level and scale of its uranium enrichment activities,” a State Department spokesman told the Free Beacon.

“The team continues to explore and discuss issues and options vis-a-vis sanctions relief,” the spokesman said. “Some progress has been made, but we are neither dragging our feet nor speeding things up. The talks will continue at a pace appropriate to address the significance of the issues being negotiated.”

Let’s take a deeper look at the nefarious use of taxpayer dollars in Iran, starting with Barack Obama.

The Obama administration succumbed to the most dangerous terms of any deal ever enacted by the United States. In 2015, Obama gifted $150 billion directly to the Iranian Khomeinist regime’s bank accounts through the terms of the JCPOA, despite warnings that this money would be used to empower the repressive regime.

Unfortunately, most of the money is spent on Iran’s wars in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and other Middle Eastern countries, and used as a prop for criminality. Additionally, the Iranian regime provides billions to its terrorist proxies, the American Thinker reports.

In 2018, the U.S. government traced some of the $1.7 billion released to Iran by Obama’s administration directly to the hands of terrorists. Iran used the funds to pay its main proxy, Hezbollah

Even John Kerry admitted that the money would go to terrorists, as reported by CNN in 2016.

“I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists,” he said in an interview in Davos. “You know, to some degree, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that every component of that can be prevented.”
