Following a pretty bad tumble up the steps of Air Force One last week, Joe Biden has been eerily sheltered from the public eye.
What’s worse, even the man who served as White House physician to Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump urged that something is wrong.
“I served as White House physician under THREE President,” Ronny Jackson said in a tweet. “I’ve seen what it takes physically AND mentally to do the job. I can tell you right now that the way Biden is hiding from the public is a MAJOR red flag. Something’s not right!”
Jackson, now a congressman for Texas, reported to the White House Medical Unit during the Bush administration in 2006, but didn’t start as physician to the president until July of 2013. He served as physician until March of 2018, and also served as the unit director from March 2010 through December 2014, according to the Daily Wire.
Simply put, he has seen enough to know what he is talking about and perhaps his words should be taken seriously.
“I have a question, could he have had a misstep?,” Dr. Marc Siegel asked on Tucker Carlson Tonight. “Or, could it be a gait problem related to a cognitive problem?”
Either way, he urged, “the American people have the right to know the answer to that.”
“And you know, when I was down at the White House, and you sent me down there in July, President Trump brought up this issue of sharpness, of cognition, as being necessary for a president...But what about the real questions about cognition, about sharpness to be president? And I think that that’s an issue of great concern here.”
“I’m not his doctor, and I’ve never examined him, but I’m not the only one that’s raising this question about him not having press conferences, about how just yesterday he was calling Vice President Harris ‘President Harris,’” Siegel added. “That could be a Freudian slip, or it could be something worse, something neurologic, something cognitive.”
Even President Trump questioned Biden’s health in a Monday Newsmax interview.
“I expected it, actually,” he said. “When I went down the ramp at West Point, which was like a sheet of ice with no railing, no nothing - great planning - I wanted to go inch by inch because the last thing I wanted to do is take a tumble like Biden did. Now that tumble was terrible and it wasn’t really one, it was three.”
“There’s something going on, it’s crazy,” he added. “What’s happening is crazy and you wonder whether or not all of the things that he’s signing, whether or not he understands what he’s signing, because this is worse than Bernie Sanders at its worst point. We never thought this could happen.”
Following the fall, the Biden administration claimed Friday that he was “100% fine,” blaming the incident entirely on the wind.
But, on Monday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki changed the story, blaming the “tricky” airplane steps.
“I don’t know if you’ve been up those steps, they’re a little tricky sometimes,” Psaki said. She added that she was “not aware” of whether a doctor evaluated Biden after he fell.
