The Democratic Primary is no more than a competition over who can give away more free stuff: healthcare, college, cash – you name it, it's free!
Here is a list of the free stuff the Democratic candidates have offered:
- Free College;
- Free Healthcare;
- Cancellation of Student Loan Debt;
- Reparations for African-Americans;
- Reparations for Same-Sex Couples;
- Free Childcare;
- Free Housing;
- Free Income;
- Free Healthcare for Illegal Immigrants.
How do the 2020 hopefuls plan on paying for all this free stuff? Unclear/they don't.
Even if Democrats did implement extreme tax rates, it still would not be feasible to pay for every citizen's healthcare, education, housing, student loan debt, reparations, et cetera. Not to mention the illegal immigrants. Not only are the Dems promising all this free stuff to U.S. citizens, but non-citizens too.
Former Vice President Joe Biden believes "anyone who is in a situation where they are in need of health care, regardless of whether they are documented or undocumented, we have an obligation to see that they are cared for."
Meanwhile Senator Elizabeth Warren is proposing bills that would make the IRS refund same-sex couples on years old tax returns.
“The federal government forced legally married same-sex couples in Massachusetts to file as individuals and pay more in taxes for almost a decade. We need to call out that discrimination and to make it right," Warren stated, according to NBC.

Presumably the most notable 'free-stuff' presidential hopeful is Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
The outspoken socialist ran a failed 2016 campaign and is now trying to at least survive the primary this election cycle. His strategy: promise more free stuff.
"Education should be a right, not a privilege. We need a revolution in the way that the United States funds higher education," Sanders claims.
More and more Democrats are jumping on the 'free-train', particularly when it comes to college.
Andrew Yang – who originally attracted some support from online Trump supporters – made headlines recently by announcing he would give away a "Freedom Dividend" to one of his lucky Twitter followers/retweeters.
As the first Democrat Primary debates are upon us, we will see which candidates stand by their lengthy list of free stuff and who adds to it.
Most importantly, we may finally get some answers as to exactly how they plan to pay for all of this - but we probably won't.
Apparently everything is free except an explanation.
