Video: Last Marines come home from Afghanistan

Leathernecks parade home Nov. 10, the birthday of the Marine Corps, after handing off to Afghanistan security forces their area of operations. In the Global War on Terror, Marines have carried the load beyond their numbers.

These Marines from 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, returned to Camp Lejeune, N.C., after their deployment to Afghanistan, The unit is the last Marine infantry unit to depart Afghanistan, and assisted with the turn over of security operations to Afghan National Security Forces.
