Today marks the day Ronald Wilson Reagan came into the world. He was born in Tampico, Illinois on Feb. 6, 1911, and died 93 years later in Bel Air, California.
You, our reader, are already honoring this remarkable man by reading this article, as Human Events was, after all, his “favorite reading for years.” To celebrate more completely, we offer the following suggestions:
Eat some Jelly Beans. Licorice was his favorite flavor! (ew).
Watch a Reagan film. Ronnie was quite the looker! Knute Rockne, All-American – he was in his prime; you can’t go wrong.
Boycott the Sochi Olympics. The (former) Soviet Union was an “evil empire” and our enemy for a long time, so I think we should still harbor some resentment. Also, look what they’re doing to our journalists over there!
Finally start that home improvement project you’ve been putting off. Walls will be torn down.
