After days of speculation about if and when disgraced former CIA Director David Petraeus would testify about his actions during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya, we have a date. Petraeus will testify before a closed session of the House Intelligence Committee on Friday, according to committee staff.

The hearing will take place unusually early for Capitol Hill, at 7:30a.m., and Petraeus is listed as the only witness in attendance.

The hearing will be his first official appearance since his sudden resignation and admission of an extramarital affair last Friday.
