Happy Birthday, Milton Friedman

Today would have been Milton Friedman's 100th birthday.

Needless to say, like many people around the world, I am a huge fan of his work. Few intellectuals - if any - have been able to take the complex and abstract theories of free-market economics and relay them in such a clear and entertaining way. Friedman's greatest gift, however, was was making the moral case for capitalism,  arguing that liberty and prosperity were linked. It's an argument that isn't made nearly enough today; or at least not clearly enough.
