Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has dramatically increased his campaign presence in Iowa and his campaign has now released his first ad there.

Called “The Right Answer”, the ad plays on the theme that Romney knows how to create jobs because of his private sector experience. He is also heard talking about a balanced budget amendment that will reduce and cap government spending.

The ad is very simple and straightforward, but it is significant in that it shows that Romney is being forced to make a play in the state. With the resurgence of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Romney is being pushed to step up his campaign efforts.

Romney has also recently opened up a campaign office in Iowa, a state he finished second place in during the 2008 Republican primary.
