Former Governor of Minnesota Tim Pawlenty had a rare moment of demonstrating both charisma and humor at tonight’s Republican debate in Iowa.

When asked by Bret Baier about his economic plan, Pawlenty made a firm recounting of his proposed economic plan, and then followed up with a witty jab at President Obama and former Governor of Massachssets Mitt Romney.

Baier asked Pawlenty if his plan’s predicted 5 percent growth per year over the period of a decade, which has never occurred in the history of the nation was “just pie in the sky.”

Pawlenty rebutted by saying, “The Unites States of America needs a growth target, and it needs to be an aggressive and bold target. I don’t want the United States growth target to be anemic laggard like Barack Obama’s.”

Continuing the assault on Obama’s economic plan, Pawlenty said that the President has no plans for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid reform.

He finished his comments up by saying, “I’ll offer a prize tonight to anyone in this auditorium or anyone watching on television: If you can find Barack Obama’s plan on any one of those items I will come to your house and cook you dinner… or if you prefer I will come to your house and mow your lawn.”

Pawlenty then turned toward Romney and in a stab at his wealth said “but in case Mitt wins I’m limited to one acre.”

This comment drew the most laughs of the night and was Pawlenty’s highest moment.
