I think we are not fated for decline. I mean I think it is very interesting also the people who write about the decline of America live in America. Most of the people who write about the post-American world, they are living in Manhattan. China and India do not present the model that America presents for the outside world….The caste system in India is rotten. The realities of China are rotten, and in the Arab world, in the Islamic world the attachment to America’s ways is enormous.
