Who’s funding the Romney campaign?

The presidential campaign of former Massachusetts Republican Gov. Mitt Romney has raised the most money of all the Republican candidates for the 2008 presidential election cycle. According to the report his campaign filed with the Federal Election Commission on October 15, he has raised a total of $62.8 million though the end of the third quarter of 2007, including $18.4 million in the third quarter alone.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is in second in total funds raised among Republican candidates with $47.3 million ($11.6 million in the third quarter), while new entrant former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson was second in third-quarter GOP fundraising with $12.8 million.
