This was a productive week, as I have two columns out. The first deals with the recent Israeli elections, which (as usual) created a mandate for inaction, even in the face of an enemy willing to elect the terrorist group Hamas to power. My first column of the week discusses the Israeli electoral system, which, because of its instability, creates stagnance when action is called for.

My second column of the week deals with the upcoming movie United 93. Is American ready for a September 11 movie? I say yes, and not only ready - such an accurate depiction is overdue. For far too long, the media has kept the footage of September 11 under wraps, playing down the evil of our enemy. It's no wonder that Americans now rate health care more of a concern than terrorism.
