The New York Post reports that K.T. McFarland didn't vote in six of the past fourteen elections in New York since 1991, including George Pataki's and Chuck Schumer's 2002 re-election campaigns.
No word whether she plans on voting in this fall's elections. The paper also revealed that McFarland is registered at two addresses, which is a possible violation of state law if it was done intentionally. Once again, McFarland had to exercise some damage control: "I make no excuses for not having voted in several past elections," she said. "It was my intention to vote in each of them, either in person or by absentee ballot, but clearly that was not always the case." Then she apparently blamed her children for making her miss election days, claiming that "In several instances, the realities of family life took precedence," but "[t]he bottom line is that I should have voted in these elections and I did not."
