Michigan Republican Chairman Saul Anuzis knows his party faces a tough road ahead trying to knock off two incumbents - Democrat Gov. Jennifer Granholm and Democrat Sen. Debbie Stabenow - but both are vulnerable and the GOP, under Anuzis' leadership, has recruited some excellent challengers.

Now, Anuzis is giving his party the resources they need to make it happen. Here's what he had to report:

The Michigan Republican Party staff is moving into a new headquarters this weekend.  The 15,000 sq. ft. Secchia-Weiser Michigan Republican Center will replace our existing 5,000 sq. ft building and will also have room for the state Senate and House Republican Campaign Committees to move in with us.

This will be a great asset for our overall campaign effort.  There will be synergy will most of the state's poltical staff all located in one building.  The new office is located 4 blocks north of the state Capitol, with it's own parking lot, which will make it much more accessible to members, staff and volunteers.

This is a huge undertaking and commitment for the Michigan Republicans.  We are very excited about our electoral prospects this year.

And while we're on the topic of Michigan, make sure you read Anuzis' blog, which is updated every day with some great information about Michigan.
