Today the New York Daily News published an editorial by Sen. Clinton and Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) which is titled "They're American Ports."

In the piece, the pair ask, "Is it in the national security interest of this country to turn over control of critical security assets to a foreign nation?" The answer, they say, is "no."

Thanks for clearing that up.

Then they accuse the Bush administration of "disingenuously claiming there is no difference between the current port operator, a British company, and Dubai Ports World, which is owned by the government of Dubai."

This seems to be a valid point, but again, Hillary has gumption to harp on this issue, especially since her husband allowed companies owned by the Chine Communists to control our ports, and would have given even more away were it not for the Republican Congress.

The senators conclude with a solid soundbite: "If 9/11 was a failure of imagination, and Katrina was a failure of initiative, this process is a failure of judgment."

All in all, a decent article, one wonders if Hillary's new foreign policy guru, the recently hired Heather Hurlburt, ended up writing most of it.
