David Horowitz’s new book, The Professors: The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America, unveils the worst of the worst when it comes to liberal indoctrinators within our nation’s institutions of higher learning. But there’s no doubt hundreds - even thousands - more of these radical leftwing “preachers” exist throughout academia who use their positions of power and influence to prey on young intellects.
Mad? Angry? Good! Me too! I’m tired of education being stifled, debate being discouraged and conservative ideas being ignored within the college classroom. I want to hear from you. Who am I?
I am Christopher Flickinger - the “Dean” of the Network of College Conservatives, an organization dedicated to exposing liberal professors and administrators and countering liberal bias within America's institutions of higher learning.
It wasn’t too long ago that I was a conservative college student on an ultra-liberal campus. I endured the hardships of trying to obtain a so-called “well-rounded” education in the face of extreme liberalism and bias. But, rest assured, I did not go quietly. I fought fervently for my beliefs within the classroom. I wanted these liberal indoctrinators to know a conservative was listening, watching and not afraid to challenge their left-wing agendas and point out their biases whenever possible.
In the end, I graduated summa cum laude in less than four years - granted, I was trying to get out of there as fast as I could. And I know that my fellow students learned a lot more about conservative principles, values and views than they would have had I not been so vocal and adamant.
So, I encourage you to speak up and share your thoughts with me and others on this blog. With your help, we’ll take back colleges and universities so students - conservative or liberal - may receive the well-rounded education they deserve!
