Republican Conference Chairwoman Deborah Pryce (R.-Ohio) is sure no one is taking her leadership position.

When I asked her about rumors over the past few weeks of a possible ousting by Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R.-Tenn.) Pryce said, "It takes a majority of a conference to make this an open seat and that will be determined tomorrow morning. The will of our conference is very important and if that's the will of the conference then we will have elections. I believe that won't be the will of the conference, but if that is the will of the conference I will win the election anyway, but I just don't think that we can change horses in the middle of the stream.. If we had that kind of shake-up there would be no continuity, no consistency and we really need to be careful of that to make sure we don't change too much leadership."
