Sen. John Kerry (D.-Mass.) is so desperate for attention that he's turned to the ultra-left blog, Daily Kos, to drum up some excitement. Kerry blogged on Daily Kos today - spouting his usual talking points about President Bush, Iraq and national security.

But even after running for president - and losing by 3 million votes - the liberal Democrat still doesn't get it.

Here's an excerpt from his blog entry:

"President Bush's mouthpiece Scott McClellan can claim this administration puts terrorists out of business, but yesterday's tape reminds us that instead of being out of business, Osama is still out there.

"If this administration had followed through on the opportunity to capture Osama Bin Laden at Tora Bora in 2001, the world would be a better place with Osama Bin Laden brought to justice - and we wouldn't be having this discussion today."

I find it amazing and alarming that Kerry is suggesting that with bin Laden out of the picture, "we wouldn't be having this discussion today" - which suggests to me that Kerry feels America would suddenly have won the war on terror. Taking out Osama will help - and go a long way to fracturing his terror network - but other terrorist will live, remaining bound and determined to destroy America.

Wake up, Sen. Kerry. You should have picked up at least this much from you flip-flopping run for president.
