The Young Conservatives of Pennsylvania (YCOP) released 4 new “Remember the Pay Raise” radio ads against their leaders who voted themselves a controversial late night 32%-43% pay raise in early July.

The 4 ads are a part of YCOP’s InformedPA.com project, an ongoing, aggressive campaign to reign in state spending.

The new ads attacks State Sen. Bob Mellow (D), State Sen. Chip Brightbill (R) and Rep. Bill DeWeese (D), urging them to repeal their self-imposed pay hike.

"While Senator Mellow, Senator Brightbill, and Representative DeWeese were all instrumental in passing the infamous July 7th late night pay hike, they each have a golden opportunity to set things right by voting to repeal the unconstitutional pay raise,” said YCOP State Chairman Chris Lilik. “We hope they will side with the vast majority of Pennsylvanians who want the pay raise rescinded and our legislators to be more responsible with our hard-earned tax dollars.”

With these spots, YCOP will have aired 6 radio ads in 3 Democrats and 3 Republicans home districts and raised 4 InformedPA.com billboards.
