Readers Applaud Pat Sajak Column Thank you for the outstanding column by Pat Sajak. I was recently a contestant on the "Wheel of Fortune," and got the honor of meeting Mr. Sajak in person. He is a great guy and made me feel comfortable about being on the show. I wrote to the producers to thank them, and also to pass on to Mr. Sajak that, as a veteran, I appreciate very much his wearing the U.S. flag lapel pin on the show. I also would like to express my gratitude for having Ann Coulter as one of your featured columnists. I have read most of her books, and her wit and wisdom never disappoint. Thanks again! My finances are very small (I take care of my parents, who are severely disabled), but I think it's time for me to subscribe to HUMAN EVENTS.

Please extend my congratulations to Pat Sajak on his article concerning the silence of Hollywood. I have always enjoyed his quick wit and whimsical humor. Now I will appreciate his insightful writing, as well.

I don't think your hypothesis about Bush-hatred is nutty at all. Nor do you, of course. As for your bringing home the reality of van Gogh's murder by imagining Hollywood's reaction to an anti-abortion zealot, well, that is brilliant. So bravo-and thank you-for asking the question: Where is the outrage? Where, indeed! Your observations are in the increasingly rare class of thought that looks not just for what is there, but for what is missing. I have been following the story of van Gogh's murder but had not noticed Hollywood's silence. But then, that's part of your point, isn't it? Hollywood is silent, precisely when an outcry should be audible and unrelenting.

I have always enjoyed Mr. Sajak's show "Wheel of Fortune," but enjoy it all the more knowing something of his politics. I generally avoid most movies and TV shows, preferring not to contribute my money to the liberal Hollywood "stars." Pat Sajak seems like a very nice and sensible man. . . apparently, rather brave, too! I sure enjoyed seeing his column in your on-line publication. Might we see more? Thanks.

Pat Sajak nails the Hollyweird left right where they live-in their dens of hypocrisy! What would normally be considered a heinous atrocity (the brutal murder of one of their own), is shamefully ignored because of what it so glaringly exposes: the truth that Islamofacists are a real danger, everywhere. Oh, and by-the-by, that President Bush is right about that minor fact. How can the "ignorati" of the left, the glittering jewels in the leftist cesspool that is the entertainment industry, be so anti-Bush that they refuse to condemn the murder of Dutch film director, Theo van Gogh? It can't be because they are intellectually superior to the President. Only a handful of the Hollywood elite have any college coursework under their belts-much less advanced degrees. Contrast that with the President's Harvard MBA (where there are no such things as "gentlemen Cs"), Condoleezza Rice's doctorate, and the rest of the exceptional education and experience of the administration's leadership. Oh, I get it . . . they are all suffering from Ph.D. envy!

Great opinion piece by Pat Sajak on the lack of outrage over the assassination of van Gogh. So true.

Three Cheers for Pat Sajak. He's the Fuad Ajami of Hollywood.

Great article by Sajak. I was in Amsterdam on the day of Van Gogh's murder, and we subsequently made the film Submission available on IFILM. You might consider linking to it: www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2655656

Coulter's Misleading Reference To Edsel Although I agreed with Ann Coulter's recent column 100% ["It's Dr. Rice, Not Dr. Dre"], I have one comment to make about your reference to the Edsel: The Edsel was a well-engineered automobile with a lot of futuristic convenience and safety features in it. It did not sell back in the 1950s because of a lack of interest in it by the public.
