Fed Up With Sen. Santorum
As a life long republican conservative I have had enough of [Sen. Rick] Santorum [R.-Pa.]. What he did for [Sen. Arlen] Specter [R.-Pa.] was unconscionable. By backing liberal anti-life Specter [see page 3], Santorum can no longer claim to be a pro-life conservative. Today pushed me over the edge. His backing now of Toomey is laughable. He was AWOL when it counted. I just filled out a re-registration form changing from Republican to Independent. Principle over party! But of course people like Santorum believe in party over principle.

Conservative Voters Bushwacked!
I am simply furious with George W. Bush.
It was his core of conservatives that put him in office and the first thing out of the box he comes up with is the Amnesty for Illegal immigrants. He seems to forget that 83% of the American people want them sent back to wherever they came from. He seems to forget that they are costing us approximately $70 billion a year for various welfare benefits, medical benefits, as well as the additional cost for interning thousands of them in prison.
Lest Mr. Bush get too carried away with his "Mandate," let him remember that thousands of us, perhaps millions of us, did not vote for Mr. Bush but rather voted against Mr. Kerry.

Thanks For The Truth
Thank you for your unflagging proclamation of the truth. I can't wait to get the next issue of HUMAN EVENTS in my mailbox, and I read every issue cover-to-cover. I'm going to pass my copy on to a conservative co-worker who might also enjoy reading the truth (which is a version of the real Truth found in the Bible).
I'm a convert to conservatism after several decades of drifting around with the liberal left in whatever direction they chose to take at the time. My conversion took place a few years ago over the course of several months, as I tried in vain to find truth in the liberals' messages. Upon realizing that their message was untrue and their storyline suspect and not backed by reason, I decided to check out the conservative message. The rest is history.
While I often disagree with the Bush Administration's watered-down version of conservatism, it's light years away from the message-less moral relativism backed by the liberal left that has polluted our society for the past 40 years.
I think that the five main actions that must be taken by the Bush Administration now (not filibustered to death and without backing down or acquiescing to the centrists) are, in decreasing order of importance:
Unfortunately for me, I live in a state where both of my senators as well as my congressional representative are Democrats. My attempts to persuade them to consider any of my points have been ignored-not that I really expected them to listen in the first place-but at least an acknowledgment would have been nice.
Keep up the great work of spreading the truth. God bless.

Red vs. Blue States
I keep hearing the left-wing loud mouths talking about how the red states are all getting more than they give from the federal government, but in looking at my state of North Carolina, it seems that the counties which aren't contributing accordingly are on the blue side (urban areas like Charlotte, Raleigh, etc.) Is this a common occurrence in the other red states, and if it is, doesn't that completely destroy their argument?

Thanks, Ann!
I really enjoy reading Ann Coulter's books and column's. She is my new best friend on the Right. Ever since I read her pieces on Ted Kennedy, I am a loyal fan! It's about time someone spoke what we all know is the truth about him and his family!!
Keep up the good work, Ann. A fan for life!
