According to the Boston Globe, Clinton also told Dan Rather in the "60 Minutes" interview that the Republican-led impeachment proceedings were "an abuse of power." Providing advance tidbits from the interview, Rather said that Clinton appeared very angry when discussing former independent counsel Kenneth Starr, who investigated charges that Clinton perjured himself during his testimony about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky. Rather revealed that Clinton "says Starr was unethical if not illegal," and suggested that the prosecutor "did something illegal."
