According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia Right to Life has endorsed both Rep. Mac Collins and former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman Cain over Rep. Johnny Isakson in the fight for the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by the Right's favorite Democrat Zell Miller. The Journal-Constitution quotes director of the Georgia Right to Life PAC Dan Becker as saying, "It's very clear we are promoting these two candidates in order to eliminate pro-abortion Johnny Isakson." There could be a problem, though - "[B]y dividing its endorsement in the Senate race, the group might inadvertently have helped Isakson in the July 20 primary, said Emory University political scientist Merle Black."
