Asked about the hot three-way Republican primary race to replace him, conservative Sen. Zell Miller (D.-Ga.) told HUMAN EVENTS he will not take sides, but will focus on re-electing President Bush. "That's how I'm going to spend all of my political time between now and the election," said Miller. The candidates in the Georgia Republican Senate primary are Herman Cain and Rep. Mac Collins, both conservatives, and moderate Altlanta-area Rep. Johnny Isakson. Under Georgia law, the race will be decided in a runoff if no candidate receives 51% of the vote July 20.
