How Is Saddam Like The U.S.?

Using his usual political, loud, and bombastic rhetoric, Sen. Ted Kennedy likened the U.S. military's actions - because of the disgraceful treatment of Iraqi prisoners at the hands of a few of our troops - to the torture, rapings, and killings conducted by Saddam Hussein and his minions.

Mr. KENNEDY: On March 19, 2004, President Bush asked: "Who would prefer that Saddam's torture chambers still be open?" Shamefully, we now learn that Saddam's torture chambers reopened under new management - U.S. management.
