From MSNBC: Veterans say that John Kerry lied about atrocities in Vietnam, but that may not account for the full extent of his false and exaggerated statements on the war and his own involvement therein. Now that He's running for President, John Kerry has completely changed his story about why he went to Vietnam, contradicting his earlier assertions. Which one is a lie? His earlier story from 1971? (??¢â???¬?????I wound up going to Vietnam because in 1965, voicing an objection, as I would have liked to have at that point, would have been, I think, a very futile thing.??¢â???¬ ) Or the story he gives now that he's running for President? ("I volunteered. I wanted to go over there and I wanted to win.")
