Aid and Comfort?
Hillary told the London-based Arab-language newspaper Asharq al-Awsat that President Bush does not fully understand the situation in Iraq and has no plan. According to Sen. Clinton, the "stubborn and arrogant" Bush Administration has not been "frank" with the American people about Iraq's financial and human toll. She also told the paper that America is in a quandary because it can't abandon Iraq but can't muster the resources to run the country because of its alleged inability to get international support.

Hillary's some might say close to treasonous remarks were published throughout the Middle East and Muslim world.

Furious W's Not Curious.
Mrs. Clinton recently appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live," where told her host that "I think it's important to have a President who asks a lot of questions, who is intellectually curious, who seeks out contrary points of view, who doesn't just surround himself with people who see the world the same way he does." (Maybe her husband's new book will detail how he consulted with his conservative advisors before he made any decisions.) She continued: "You have to have a decision-making process that pushes a lot of information up, and asks a lot of hard questions. You don't get that sense from this White House."

She also blasted President Bush for, in her view, failing to listen to those who said invading Iraq might pose dangers. "They would, you know, basically ignore the warnings that so many people gave them about what would happen when the oppressive, you know, heavy hand of Saddam Hussein was lifted off."

Even when it came to weapons of mass destruction, which her husband repeatedly claimed were in Iraq and which she cited as justification for toppling Saddam, Hillary said President Bush just didn't ask enough questions. "I think that in the case of the administration, they really believed [the WMD intelligence]. They really thought they were right. But they didn't let enough sunlight into their thinking process to really have the kind of debate that needs to take place when a serious decision occurs like that."

Aborting Women.
As one of the original feminists, Hillary was sure to make a prominent appearance at the pro-abortion "March for Women's Lives." First she spoke at a pre-rally breakfast where she told hundreds of like-minded women that "This administration is filled with people who disparage sexual harassment laws, who claim the pay gap between women and men is phony...who consider Roe v. Wade the worst abomination of constitutional law in our history."

When she spoke at the demonstration the following day, she was in full-1960s radical mode, screaming at the top of her lungs that "Twelve years ago we had a march. And we elected a pro-choice President. This year we have to do the very same thing." The crowd roared its approval, chanting "Hill-a-ry! Hill-a-ry!" She went on to say that "If you care about changing the direction of this country, it's up to you. And you have to be willing to be a good citizen, to stand up for our rights, to stand up for our Constitution and to show up at the polls in November to elect John Kerry President of the United States." And finally, "We didn't have to march for 12 long years because we had a government that respected the rights of women. The only way we are going to avoid having to march again and again and again is to elect John Kerry President."

Hill on Health Care. Part II.
Last Sunday, Hillary penned a 5,800-word article for The New York Times Magazine's annual medicine issue about health care. The cover of the magazine, which came out ten years after her health-care debacle was soundly defeated, carried the line: "Now Are We Ready To Talk About Health Care?" Sen. Clinton started off her piece by joking, "I know what you're thinking. Hillary Clinton and health care? Been there. Didn't do that." But she went on to say how our health care system has declined seriously since she tried to save the world a decade ago, and makes some new proposals and repeats old ones, including providing health care for all children and all who are in poverty.
