America Coming Together (ACT) has talent as well as money. That's what makes it so potent a force in the effort to unseat Bush.

The ACT Executive Committee includes:

Ellen Malcolm, President. In 1985 Malcolm founded Emily's List to elect pro-abortion Democratic women candidates and she has built it into the nation's largest political action committee.

Steve Rosenthal, Chief Executive Officer. From 1996-2002, Rosenthal was political director at the AFL-CIO, where he developed voter mobilization programs that increased union turnout.

Gina Glantz, Treasurer. Glantz has spent 30 years in campaigns and grassroots organizing. She was the National Campaign Manager for the Bill Bradley for President campaign in 2000.

Minyon Moore heads state and local practice at Dewey Square, a politics-oriented public relations firm. She was formerly Chief Operations Officer of the Democratic National Committee, and was Director of White House Public Affairs during the Clinton Administration.

Carl Pope. As executive director of the Sierra Club, a 700,000-member organization, Pope oversees a formidable environmental group with a tradition of intense grassroots activism that will prove valuable to the ACT coalition.

Cecile Richards. She is President of America Votes, a coalition of 17 national organizations working to mobilize voters on environment, civil rights, women's rights, abortion, education and labor issues.

Andrew Stern. As President of the Service Employees International Union, Stern leads the largest and fastest growing union in the country. SEIU has 1.6 million members and a budget of about $150 million.
