In an effort to keep the American people informed about where their tax dollars are going and to keep politicians accountable, we are bringing to you a regular list of pork projects delivered fresh from the fiscal 2004 omnibus spending bill.

The Senate has yet to vote on the Omnibus Appropriations Bill, so it's not too late to defeat it. You can contact your Senator by dialing the Senate switchboard and asking for your Senator's office: 202-224-3121.

-We keep hearing about all this money that Heinz’s widow-now John Kerry’s wife-inherited. She must be saving it for the presidential campaign

-----

$1,000,000 for facilities construction for Tampa Bay Watch in Florida.

-This is an environmental non-profit group that is lucky enough to be situated in the district of House Appropriations chairman Bill Young (R.-Fla.).

-----

$250,000 Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum in Anchorage for improvements.

$300,000 Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs in Illinois for restoration of the Chicago Cultural Center Domes.

$100,000 North Star Productions, Inc. in Bracken County, Kentucky for construction of an amphitheatre.
