Liberal Double Standards Block Judicial Nominees
As a former judge, I believe that your recent articles correctly observe that Ted Kennedy and Chuck Schumer are engaging in "lynch mob tactics" in their actions toward Judge Brown ["Bush Vows Bitter End Fight for Judges"].
I would also note that if their roles were reversed and it was the Republicans who were filibustering so as to prevent a black woman, Hispanic and a Catholic from the South from getting an up-or-down vote by the full Senate, as is constitutionally required, Messrs. Kennedy, Schumer et al. would be accusing them of racism and intolerance. So, then, one must ask the question: "Hey Ted & Chuck-where's the diversity and where's the tolerance that you Democrats demand from everyone else?"

I really enjoyed reading John Gizzi's article on the judges, But aside from talking about various options to get these nominees through the Senate, has anyone commented yet on the President's ability to get his judicial nominees on the bench through a process called "recess appointments?" Didn't Bill Clinton use this procedure to get some of his stalled choices on the federal bench?
I would appreciate more information on this tactic.

(Editor's Note: This tactic has been frequently discussed in Washington, but the consensus is that nominees do not want to leave their current jobs to accept a recess appointment that would expire in about a year.)
The Democratic Party's Immoral National Platform
In reference to your recent review of Sen. Zell Miller's new book A National Party No More, ["Conservative and Democrat"], Zell Miller (D.-Ga.) has tried to warn Democrats about the party's cultural depravity, but even Zell doesn't completely get it. Democrats are a national party-from Sodom, N.Y. to Gomorrah, Calif. They are the party trying to legislate immorality!
As I recently watched the Democratic candidates debating for their (liberal) party's presidential nomination, I noticed they'd stolen Kentucky Fried Chicken's marketing strategy.
The candidates repeatedly referred to one of their core special interest constituencies, "Gay, Lesbian, Bisexuals and Trans-genders," as the GLBT community. This is the Democrats' version of KFC.
Just as Col. Sanders' successors realized that fried food isn't good for you, or for business, Democrats are trying to hide their true selves from the American people.
It's immoral to kill over 40-million unborn children, but that's the Democrat position. It's immoral to advocate same sex "marriage," but that's the Democrat position. It's immoral to take away an individual's right to self-defense, but that's the Democrat position.
It won't work! At least, I hope (and pray) it won't. Voters should recognize that sanitary landfills and conservative Democrats do not exist!

State Department's Fabian Agenda
There's more to the "Foggy Bottom" story than what Robert Cheeks' review of Joel Mowbray's book Dangerous Diplomacy, refers to as the State Department's "Moral Relativism." ["State Department's Dangerous Diplomacy"]
Quoting, "that may explain State's managerial elite but it doesn't explain contravening the President's directives, undermining American prestige, or providing potential belligerents with aid and assistance. . . . No, these are the actions of agents acting on behest of a foreign power, or statist ideology. . ." One could ask, so what else is new?
The State Department was the first bureaucracy that our Fabian Socialists took over in the 1920s. In 1945 they became the United Nations' advocates. So they remain, well entrenched. Perhaps that will help explain Dangerous Diplomacy? Or what is called "Foggy Bottom,"
Except socialism isn't to create foggy bottoms. It's to destroy individual freedoms and rights. Want to hazard a guess what it was our Founding Fathers were warning us about, which would take away our freedoms if we didn't guard them? We are not!

Reisman's Research Greatly Appreciated
This letter is to thank you for finally starting the mainstream exposure of Kinsey's crimes against children and humanity and against our nation ["Congress Should Probe and Defund the Kinseyites"], treason indeed!
I urge you to publish more of Dr. Judith Reisman's research, some of which astounds.
It can be found on her website (www.drjudithreisman.org) and in her books, the latest of which is Kinsey, Crimes and Consequences.

That Hypocrite Al Franken
Your feature ["Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire"] regarding Al Franken's recent book Lies And Their Lying Liars Who Tell Them merely exposes how Franken's hypocrisy is so transparent. Franken in an attempt to lure officials of Bob Jones University into saying racist remarks and his letter to John Ashcroft on Harvard University Stationery is blatant hypocrisy in itself.
Posing as "guardian" in each time he, by virtue of misrepresenting himself, initiated a lie of his own. Being a sham artist is akin to being a liar. Nowhere in his book does Franken have a chapter on himself as one of the . . . Lying Liars . . . .
Franken is a lose cannon and truly needs help in soul searching (his own). It is astonishing to see how a finger-pointer cannot or will not first look within himself.
As Christ said, ". . . you notice the splinter in your neighbor's eye, but do not see the log in your own." (Speaking to hypocrites.)
