Early Saturday morning, November 22, after a record 3-hour roll call vote, the Medicare Prescription Drug Conference Report was agreed to in the House of Representatives.
When the original bill passed the House, 19 Republicans with true scruples voted against it. This time, in spite of aggressive arm-twisting by the White House, 25 GOPers were strong enough to oppose the President's $400 billion drug plan - the largest entitlement expansion since the Johnson Administration.
Alas, the socialist program made it past the House with a 5-vote margin. But there are some Republicans who deserved to be praised.
Here are the 25 Republicans who failed to blink while staring down the Administration and their contact information.
