CPAC 2004 Registration

The clock is ticking for conservatives to register for the 31st Annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), to be held Thursday, Jan. 22-Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004.

Co-sponsored by the American Conservative Union Foundation, HUMAN EVENTS, Young America's Foundation and more than 70 other conservative organizations, CPAC 2004 promises to be a blockbuster event for grassroots activists, featuring book signings by the nation's hottest conservative authors and live broadcasts of national and local radio shows.

The 31st Annual CPAC will feature a number of prominent conservative speakers, including syndicated columnist and author Ann Coulter, Wayne LaPierre of the National Rifle Association, columnist and author Michele Malkin, and Lt. Col. (Ret.) Oliver North.

New features to CPAC 2004 include a silent auction during the presidential and Ronald Reagan banquets where more than a dozen special items will be auctioned off, including luncheons with leaders of the conservative movement, and even a trout fishing trip with ACU Chairman David A. Keene.

To ensure seating and safety, registration for CPAC 2004 will be limited to 3,800.

American Cause Hosts Pro-Life Conference

The American Cause will sponsor a pro-life conference titled, "Voices of the Unborn," on Saturday, October 4, at the Crystal City Hilton in Arlington, Va. Registration for the conference is $30, which includes breakfast and dinner reception.

Topics for panel discussions include:

  • The latest on abortion: Facts and figures, medical, emotional, polls.
  • Abortion's second victim.
  • How can Congress protect the unborn?
  • Ministers, priests and rabbis - did they fail us and what is their role today?
  • How do we save the babies?
  • Speakers include HUMAN EVENTS editor Terry Jeffrey, Peggy Kirk, Georgette Forney, Rep. Chris Smith (R.-Calif.), author and nationally syndicated columnist Pat Buchanan, Judie Brown, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Joe Scheidler, and Allan Parker.
