Anti-ICE agitators and Antifa militants overwhelmed police in Minneapolis on Friday evening in reaction to the shooting of Renee Good, who was killed by an ICE agent when she rammed him with a car on Wednesday. Multiple arrests took place when Antifa militants broke into a hotel where ICE was staying.

There have been protests as well as vandalism taking place in the days following the shooting of Good in the area, with anti-ICE radicals setting up an "autonomous zone" in the middle of a suburban neighborhood a few blocks away from "George Floyd Square." Police responded to the chaos taking place near the Canopy Hotel on South Third Street and Park Avenue in downtown Minneapolis on Friday evening.

Fireworks were being set off as more agitators, including some in Antifa, took to the streets in "direct action" in response to the shooting of Good. As the left-wing agitators gathered in Minneapolis, some stopped traffic, wearing safety vests in an attempt to make themselves look like officials.

In addition to causing havoc in the area, the anti-ICE agitators and rioters swarmed the hotel where ICE was staying in Minneapolis. Some used high-powered flashlights to shine light through the windows.

After gathering outside the hotel, identified as a Marriott franchise, some of the far-left rioters broke into the hotel lobby, vandalizing and destroying property inside the hotel. Additionally, the far-left agitators spray-painted "f*ck ICE" all over the windows of the hotel.

After hours of chaos, the rioters overwhelmed the police units who were present to keep the peace in downtown Minneapolis. The police were forced to drive off after mobs of left-wing agitators swarmed the police cars.

Several were arrested during the evening chaos. The Minnesota Police Department said in a statement, "The Minnesota State Patrol Mobile Response Team and members of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources are assisting Minneapolis police with the arrest of people for unlawful assembly."
